My career started when I was only 16 yrs old when Eddie and I were introduced through a mutual friend by the name of
Doug. With Doug on drums and Eddie and myself on guitar we started a band called Widdow. The band eventually fizzled out (as
most teenage glam rock garage bands do.)
Shortly after, I started playing in other bands. The most notable was a band called "Mischief". That band however lasted
only a year and fell apart just as Widdow did. One night while at the state fair in Phoenix Arizona, I ran into Eddie whom
I had not seen in a couple years. he mentioned that he was putting together another band and asked for me to help put the
band together. The time was perfect since I had nothing else going on. It litterally took two years to find other band
members that wanted to do what we were doing (considering by this time grunge had taken over and a lot of people are mindless
drones who only do what the media says is cool) Psycho Gypsy actually gained from the grunge era. Since every one else was
afraid to do anything else, we had cornered the Glam Metal market. Every one who loved Glam as we did only had one band to
go see. Many line up changes, a decade of playing and one album release later, the members of Psycho Gypsy drifted apart.
Eddie moved to Hollywood and I moved to Colorado. With that it seemed Psycho Gypsy's days were gone. After a few years away
from music I decided to get back into it. I had gotten in touch with Psycho Gypsy's former drummer Mykel. He had planned on
moving to Colorado to start a new project with me. One month before he was to move, Mykel died in a tragic motorcycle accident.
Although I was devistated I knew that I had to continue as Mykel wanted. Somethimg in my head (most likely Mykel) told me
to give Eddie Electra a call. After a short time on the phone, The plans to re-vamp, re-invent, and re-ignite Psycho Gypsy
had begun. Apparently this story is far from over.
